Hight relief diptych painting: oil and mixed media on canvas. These two works on canvas that form a diptych, represent a kind of alchemical machine for transforming wishes into reality. The reliefs that compose the subject are made on concrete cream, sawdust and iron paste. The artwork finds its dynamism in the reflections of the subject painted in silver that emerges from the depths of the light spot on the background. In this collection of works on canvas, painting blends in with sculpture in a search on the body-spirit relationship developed through transparency of oil color in relation to the versatility of sculpting materials. The pictorial action on sculptural inserts wants to amplify the expressive force of the matter in contrast with the bright soul of the artwork. The choice of working on canvas instead that on wood panel, was born from the desire to maintain a balanced dialogue between the typical properties of sculpture and painting. The large color fields of the funds, in fact, are made without the use of airbrushes or similar, but painted with brush on the canvas, in order to maintain the typical lightness of the execution for color's veils.

"Art is a state of connection that uses the existence ingredients to unite the worlds of the possible with those of the impossible." Lorenza Cavalli The foundation of my research concerns the alliance between visible and invisible. I have always believed that technique is not a way to look backward but, on the contrary, an added value useful for achieving important and innovative creative milestones. Starting from this premise, the figurative painting that characterized the first part of my production has offered me the opportunity to play on the borderline between the material and immaterial dimensions. During my academic training, I was chosen as the sole artist for the realization of an extensive Nautical Art project, for which I created over seventy oil paintings on canvas, appreciated by enthusiasts and leading figures in the maritime world in Italy and abroad. From the very subject of these works, my interest in the synergy between the known and the unknown, of which navigation is a symbol, was born: an emblem of the human drive to strive for the absolute. The oil highlights on canvas, made with a brush, continue the research begun with the abstracts that juxtapose painting and sculpture, through which I aim to capture the energy arising from the point of contact between the tangible and intangible. The sculptural production of marble and alabaster combined with metals proceeds parallel to the execution of recycled art pieces, where the intervention of time becomes the primary ingredient in the creation of the work. My works are now present in private collections in Italy, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Russia, the United States, India, China, Brazil, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates I invite you to visit my YouTube channel where you can find videos of my artworks.
