Elisa Galvan-Mondié is a visual artist and a People & Planet possibilist based between Brussels & Paris. As a creative awed by the lively contrast of city and nature, Elisa is passionate about expressing her art through oil painting on large canvases, music composition and song improvisation. Born into a science, cognac & wine making family in a vibrant Latin American metropolis, her projects reflect her diverse roots, exploring regenerative soils and alternative spirits coupled with tango, salsa, jazz, java, old chanson française, and disco vibes. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, wine bars & co-working spaces in Brussels as well as during Philanthropic events in Miami & New york. Through her work, she supports farmers, investors, and cities in fostering heart-connected streets, healthy soils and reinventing food systems for a nature-positive shared-home planet. Her life drastically changes the day her partner became suddenly disabled with a rare illness. Since then she is an advocate of the handicap cause and is an ambassador of Creahmbxl an Art hub for outsider artists with disabilities. During her early career, she attended WSET (Wine Spirit Education Trust) courses, the Central Saint Martin School and the Shoreditch Princes Drawing School in London. She developed a love of singing through solo lessons in Buenos Aires and Paris after spending 10 years touring Europe, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia in a children's choir. Elisa's abstract paintings draw the viewer through vibrating shifts of musical colors, nature textures and emotions maps & movement. Plashes of pigments on canvases get regrown, re-imagined and reborn at each brush stroke & splash of wine. In her process, Elisa finds her spiritual flow and recharges every nighttime by rewilding sketches. When inspiration strikes, she has a direct & intuitive approach to her pieces over a period of 3 to 4 days. The game of light and color found in modernist architecture and generous raw material farmland nurture her style. Elisa strives to interconnect with others on the deepest tune of their live's song and continuously transform hers into gladness & resilience.
