About The Artwork
I was feeling moody when painting this. This is the only pandemic painting I have actually done, and it was my first oil painting ever. I work in healthcare on the front lines as a Nurse Practitioner. This year has not been the year when I could pick up a hobby or hone my work. I have been deep in it and I think this piece captures the feelings I had of being swallowed up by all of it.

Self taught artist who loves to dabble with painting and photography. I work as a Nurse Practitioner, helping to take care of Transplant patients and also pulled into the COVID-19 pandemic assisting in that area as well. I wish I could say I have painted more this year, but there has been no time between homeschooling my two kids, and working full-time in healthcare at a busy hospital. My past work life also includes 8 years as a commercial Interior Designer.
