Dejavu Lila Painting

Nature is an inexhaustible source of knowledge, a fascinating territory that contains both a spiritual sense, and immense wisdom. My botanical portraits are inspired by my sensibility to plants colors and morphology, they reflect my ongoing fascination with flowers as an artistic subject. From the use of materials of natural origin such as cotton and bamboo fiber paper, and the use of water-based pigments, I try to develop a work that captures the movement, gesture and character of the plant. The piece is delicately signed in the lower right part of the work, and is made on high-quality 300gr acid-free watercolor paper, that will require framing to display. The piece also has an extra 0.5 cm white border around the painted area so it can be easily framed.
