ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The River Kennet runs through the village where I live in Wiltshile; a neighbour's dinghy sits on the river's surface, surrounded by varied greens of the trees, bushes, reeds and water. With all my work I first make sketches on site in pencil and in watercolour and then work up my findings into a final painting when I'm back in my studio.
