I am always in awe of the beautiful Dolce & Gabbana runway shows. The attention to the tiniest fabric details, the rich color palettes, and the embellishment of flowers and oversized jewelry is where I drew my inspiration for this piece. She is a dramatic show stopper.

I graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a concentration in metalsmithing and jewelry. Following my education, I promptly moved back to Dallas to start my career as a custom fine jeweler for a local elite designer. After eleven years of honing my craft, I felt the need to switch my focus and go after a life long dream of becoming a studio artist. By blending my jewelry career with early childhood experiences of being raised by parents that embraced nature and creativity, I have created a distinct style all my own. I primarily paint with oil on canvas to create bold and eye catching gem encrusted paintings.
