ABOUT THE ARTWORK
SOLD - NZ Collector Doug Hart is the President of the Otago Art Society, NZ. Previously I used to joke with him that being selected for art shows and allowing for the different tastes of the guest judges was a real battlefield, not always an easy task. With great wit and aplomb, Doug replied in the vernacular as Black Adder goes forth with me as member of his forces. Suffice to say in keeping with the light hearted spirit of this, I created the main actors from Black Adder goes forth, however I substituted Rowan Atkinson for Doug Hart. Other characters drawn are Stephen Fry as General Melchett, Tony Robinson as Baldrick, Hugh Laurie as Lieutenant George and Tim McInnerny as Captain Kevin Darling. Study completed in Black and White
