ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was inspired by this lonesome dove sitting on a saguaro cactus in Cabo San Lucas. He looked so peaceful that I used these splotches of color to heighten the lonesomeness. I hope I communicated the peace I felt to the viewer. The painting is museum wrapped with the edges painted black so it is ready to hang.
