Dreamcatcher Painting

Sometimes I don't know what to draw. Nothing comes to mind. So I go with circles. Psychiatrist Jung would suggest his patients to draw mandalas. It is a therapy. I heard there are all kind of mandalas. Magical ones that protect you, heal you, save you. I don't really believe in those kind of things. Mine is just a simple circle with ornaments in it. Just four colors. Although, it reminds me of one autumn day 30 years ago. I stepped into a Hare Krishna's temple. It felled like I entered another world. The smell of burning incense, sound of music and tasty sweets they offered to ones that wondered in. They were making flower wreath wearing beautiful Indian robes. Now I'm thinking if I stayed I would only be painting blue clouds and dancing Krishna. I would only see peace and quiet everywhere. My world was totally different from theirs. Maybe that's why they left such a big impression. I never became Hare Krishna but it's one of mine most beautiful autumn memories. That's why I tried to put all of that feeling into the colors of this mandala.
