"Eagle Eyes" Painting

I believe the universe gives you what you need, not what you want. In my paintings you will see the pictures I took from my soul. A mixture of passion and honesty. Combination of joy, energy, sadness and fear - with a pinch of anger and hope too. Feelings that I feel and feelings that I wish to fill. Either way to me it's a strong vision of beauty that I can not resist. I paint what’s difficult to explain, I give light to the darkness of my soul. I particularly love the freedom to step out of the “here and now”. That world where possibilities are endless and boundaries do not exist. Where I can see the invisible and explore the impossible with no expectation or rules. Being liberated like this I can then paint my vision, from my perspective, intuitively like a barefoot dance with abandon and imagination at 5am while the rest of the world sleeps. I like the fact that I have the opportunity to guide the "sound" of each painting into someone's mind and they in turn experience whatever vibe they will feel without any obligation to see what I want them to see. I like to dream and use my imagination to create pictures always capturing the light. I believe the light is crucial for us mortal creatures and beautiful souls to experience and see. Light reflects positivity. I wish for my work to inspire, be the motivational speech each Monday, lift the spirit, be the light in the darkness or maybe just bring good energy from just one glance. My painting style is centred around strong and decisive strokes. My main theme is to create intense and vibrant movement with the brush or palette knife. I want them to be distinct and memorable, to stand out visibly in plain sight. No instrument is excluded, I am open to using all that is available to me. I build my paintings with multiple layers, texture is important to me. I want the painting to go through numerous stages of discovery until it is ready to become its final version. This is to show the rough surfaces as in life no journey is without ripples, no journey is easy and smooth.
