About The Artwork
It was a sunny early summer day in Bad Ischl in Austria when I walked along this river promenade. The light, colours and mood were just stunning and invited for a painting. Materials used: Schmincke HORDAM Watercolours (Artist Quality) on Hahnemühle Watercolour paper, 300 g/m² Format of the paper: 40 cm x 30 cm Format of the painting: about 38.5 x 25.8 cm (it is actually about 1-2 mm larger on each side so that it can be conveniently mounted behind a passepartout with a 38.5 x 25.8 cm window).
