ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was made in 2019 in a wild bay the Black Sea coast. I got up at 5 in the morning. August on the Black sea, the beautiful sunrises! I put my easel on the stones, prepared a palette of oils. Sunrise and sunset gives us magical colors! I wrote this pleinair for 3 hours without stopping, I was afraid that the sun would rise to zenith and the color would disappear. On the lower right, a shadow is still visible on the water and the shore of the cliff. In a few hours this coast will be flooded with the strongest southern sun and the morning beauty of color will go away. I catch it time. Pleinair painting is always impressionism. This is the moment. My painting is done in oil and fixed in a white frame. It is positive and will decorate any room with calmness and good energy.
