Winner of the Royal West of England Academy Watercolour Prize King Lear Art Prize 2023. Highly Commended I completed a BA hons in applied art at Bath Spa University in 2014 and went straight on to do a Masters in Fine Art which I finished in 2016. I live in Lea, Wiltshire, UK and work from my studio in nearby Foxham. My abstract works are created using gloss paints which I allow to flow and interact. They are inspired by aerial photographs of the planet. Since lock down took over our lives I have returned to watercolors which were my first love. There is nothing like the translucence and luminosity of watercolor painting to evoke the experience of isolation. I am inspired by artists such as Kurt Jackson, James Morrison, Nicolas Lopez and Birgitta Glode.
