My work was inspired by the work of Rob Rauschenberg. I use tangible objects in my art studio and merge them with imagined objects to create a new visual reality. I hope that the viewers are drawn into this mystical world that I have created. I chose to use these mediums to capture the feeling of the objects in my studio as they are and superimpose these with figurative images of things that I imagine as belonging in that space such as birds, lips etc...These imagined objects are painted with pigment , oil and liquin, giving these images transparency and weightlessless The combination of this mixed media results in a very new, modern painting.
