ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by a Hermann Hesse novel: Strange News from Another Star (Märchen) – "Iris" and "Faldum". The view from inside the Iris flower and persons feel about the Beauty of that flavour, colours that is bringing person far away from this life. I have chosen oil and powdered Lapis lazuli on thick Iron piece, with protective over layer, thus its fire resistant and could be clean with water. Also it is mold resistant and virtually unbreakable. The music, colours and form of Iris from inside are balanced with another technique of impressionist German landscape.
