ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was inspired by Japanese Kigo Poetry of Matsuo Bashō. Winter solitude - in the world of one color the sound of wind. I was trying to express by frozen birds, winter period that is approaching the winter warm step by steps. Its a large heavy painting on wood. One note, the bottom part of this painting, could be de-attached if needed.

I have used powdered lapis lazuli, and other minerals as well as platinum as a basement for most of the paintings on large iron.
