ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is on canvas and is stretched on a wood frame. I was inspired by bees. Bees are so necessary for our existence and this painting is paying homage to their fight to stay alive. We as a species need to plant more flowers that allow bees to pollinate. This painting is to give the viewer a sense of hope and joy, because if we appreciate and care for nature then we can reap the rewards.

Hello and thank you for dropping by. My name is Diana, I was born and raised just North of Toronto. I lived on a hobby farm with my parents and 3 siblings. We had sheep, chickens and rabbits and a very large vegetable garden. I lived in what felt like the woods. Our little house was surrounded by huge Maple trees. I like to think that the trees raised me. I also teach art at the Wyndham School of Art in Guelph Ontario. I paint in my home studio.
