ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Once in St. Petersburg, I accidentally got into a fight - I had to defend myself against an insane guy with a knife. I won. And got an amazing feeling, when all civilization disappears from you just in seconds and you stand like a Neanderthal with a club against another Neanderthal man - it's a great moment to take and throw your life to hell, why not now? As for the painting - I threw paint in the canvas ala Pollock, I used industrial marker on canvas - all means were good to create a sensation of a mad fight, senseless and merciless, black alternately with red, marker, cadmium, kraplak, blood sprays . Once we all were warriors.
