Fire flame Painting

Katerina is an Russian artist from the town Omsk. She relocated to South Florida to embrace a new culture and expand her talents. Katerina started her love of art from childhood, constantly drawing anywhere she could paint in her home. She continued her passion in art and attended Omsk institute of technology, graduating at the top of her class. In 2006 Katerina entered the field of interior design after graduation and directed renovation in many homes throughout the city of Omsk. In some of her interior projects, Katerina incorporated art pieces in for walls and ceilings. Occasionally on her spare time she would volunteer at her university helping students with design projects. In 2019 Katerina decided to move in South Florida to start a new life. Having a new tropical environment has given her inspiration that is totally opposite from the cold environment she comes from. The tropical weather, trees, animals, ocean and people has fueled her passion for art and inspired her with new artistic ideas for projects that she wants to create. Katerina has a passion for abstract and contemporary art. She is currently working on projects using acrylic, oil, mixed media and digital computer art. In her portfolio Katerina has painted skateboards, bicycles, ceramic pots, wood tables and furniture. Additionally she works with drawing on fabrics, shirts, shoes, bags and decorative textile canvases. She continues to work on her art and developing new art pieces.
