Dalt Jacob is a contemporary American painter. Their style reflects avant garde, faux naif, figurative, post neo expressionist and abstract art genres. Paintings such as the 2023 piece "Visa Vis Able Ab Jazz" and 2021 “Dancer” showcase a signature combination of paint, text, and drawing. The usage of elements from the environment such as sidewalk debris and rubbish on the street tether the art with the community. The artwork gains inspiration from the dystopian aspects and the irony of modern society. Their work exhibits influence from a variety of painters, musicians, and writers such as those of Black Mountain College, Felix R. Cid, Helen Frankenthaler & Robert Nava. ​ Dalt studied art in Florida at Santa Fe College & University of Florida. They began painting at age 13 to express themselves creatively. As a recovering addict, pain and pleasure of drug use is exemplified in artwork and is the essence that stands out in their paintings. Dalt Jacob currently enjoys working at his studio located in NYC.
