About The Artwork
This work is a unique oil painting for your home or office. It’s made in an expressive, abstract style, but you can immediately see the connection with flowers. The work is inspired by the beauty of nature and flowers. The background is kept very smooth in mostly white, while the flowers are worked in bright blues with a thick application of paint. An elegant balance is created, with which the active movements and lines give the painting its meaning. Great effects were achieved with just a few colors and the little amount of red. Several layers of oil paint were used with a large brush and spatula. It is a beautiful eyecatcher in any space, which has a dynamic style and is still calm. This painting is painted on 2cm deep gallery canvas with cream sides and is ready to hang. It is signed on the front and comes with my certificate of authenticity.

Sabine Kay is an abstract artist, born 1964 in Hamburg, Germany, and now living in Luxembourg. She has always had a passion for art, but rediscovered this only some years ago. And now, with the kids getting older, she is moving into a new phase of her life: an art-life. In the beginning she worked realistic, but over the years she learned that in abstract art she could better express herself. While painting she is building the oil colours layer upon layer with a colour palette ranging from soft and serene to vibrant and invigorating. Her inspiration comes from nature itself or photographs. Painting means to her to create something by herself that reflects her impression of nature and its many and always changing Colours.
