About The Artwork

In this charming watercolor and pencil drawing, titled "Flower on the Forehead, Beautiful Eyes," we encounter the portrait of a young woman that sparks both imagination and reflection. At the center of the composition, a delicate flower adorns her forehead, adding a touch of intrigue and beauty. The woman's eyes, duplicated in the image, exude captivating depth. Her gaze seems to pierce through time itself, reflecting the complexity of the human experience and our perception of the world around us. The presence of the flower on the woman's forehead suggests a symbol of growth, renewal, and connection to nature. Simultaneously, the duplication of her eyes prompts reflection on the duality of reality and the multiplicity of perspectives that coexist through time. "Flower on the Forehead, Beautiful Eyes" invites us to contemplate the relationship between time and perception. It reminds us that reality is multifaceted, evolving with time and revealing itself differently to each individual. Through this artwork, we are guided to explore the depth of the human experience and our capacity to find beauty and meaning in life's complexities.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
