ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Gouache on paper. Footprints in an imaginative world. Like walking on the beach and see your footprints disappear. I’m inspired by nature, raindrops on the canal, tiny dewdrops ealy morning on the plants, a slight haze over the fields. I work on paper with different materials, acrylic, gesso, gouache, ink, colorpencils, crayons. This is a unique piece of art. No prints are made. When I am painting I don't doubt. To accomplish that it is necessary to be tuned in and to keep my mind clear. I work from intuition. A dialogue between my work and the painter inside me appears on the paper. My work can have strong graphic elements but it can also be very fluent. I work in Holland in "the werkplaats, a space for learning" by Erik Lemmens. My favorite painters a Kandinsky, Constant, Peter Doig and Gijs Frieling.
