For my lover Painting

Stunning nude of a woman being seductive for her lover. I’ve used Windsor and Newton professional grade oils, on a loxley gold chunky box canvas, all sides have been painted , so no frame is required. Hanging eyes have been fitted, with stainless steel wire for strong easy hanging.ive also fitted dust proof paper to the back of the canvas, this protects the canvas from the back, preventing a build up of dust. The painting has been finished with a mixture of gloss and satin Windsor and Newton varnish, this gives a semi gloss sheen, protects the canvas from sunlight, dust, etc. My inspiration for painting this piece, is how the light catches her pearl ear ring and her robe which is slipping down her thighs,the contrast between the earring, the robe, her Latin coloured skin, and the deep multi coloured browns of the background,I’ve imagined her lover out of view, sitting there admiring his lover. The painting consists of many layers, building up the deep ness of the colours until I was happy with the result, finishing off with several glazes to her skin. My hope that the viewers imagination will be inspired by the painting, that they can come to there own conclusions to who, why, where, etc.
