Forest Waterfall captures a quiet moment deep in the woods, where water spills gently over weathered stone into a calm pool below. Soft greens, muted earth tones, and loose brushstrokes create a sense of peace and timelessness. This painting invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and imagine the cool...

Karen Rosenblatt is an award-winning artist whose creative journey began after a career as a pianist and teacher was cut short by a hand injury. Encouraged by her late father’s legacy as a commercial artist and illustrator, she picked up his tools and embraced a new artistic path. Adopting his signature name “Zuk” (from Zukoff), she continues his creative spirit through her work. After exploring multiple mediums, Karen entered her first art show and won First Place in Oils—marking the beginning of a successful and evolving art career. She later studied Advertising Art and Design at SUNY and went on to create pen and ink renderings for real estate advertising, magazine illustrations, and commissioned pet portraits. Karen’s work has been featured in one-woman shows, galleries, museums, outdoor exhibitions, and online platforms. She has received awards across a variety of mediums including oils, watercolors, pastels, and photography, and her art is held in private collections around the world. While primarily a realist, Karen enjoys adding a touch of whimsy—what she calls “realism with a twist.” Animals, especially cats, are among her favorite subjects, and she hopes her work inspires viewers to treat all living creatures with kindness and dignity. Her piece Sea Assault reflects her concern for the environment, particularly the devastating impact of pollution and human activity on marine life and the oceans. Karen is an active member of Art Connect and was a Signature Member of The Artist’s Guild of the Boca Raton Museum of Art and served on the Executive Board of Directors.
