About The Artwork
I like to paint flowers whether they are fresh or faded. Especially roses, that is why I planted 20 bushes in my garden, few years ago. If I am lucky, I can keep some of them over the winter. They manage to preserve a feeling of ageless beauty and melancholy. I chose the apples to complete the composition, for they provide a solid shape and a a lively color, for contrast, as well as a different meaning. The painting comes with a golden frame.
