Isabelle Geneviève Marie Anne Gall (1947 – 2018), better known by her stage name France Gall, was a French yé-yé singer. In 1965, aged 17, she won the Eurovision Song Contest. Between 1973 and 1992, she collaborated with singer-songwriter Michel Berger.
This couple of artists launched the rock opera Starmania and committed themselves in Mali against famine and drought, notably with the NGO Action Écoles. France Gall and Michel Berger had just co-written a new album when the latter died suddenly in 1992. After the death of their daughter Pauline on December 15, 1997, she left the stage. As a tribute to Michel Berger, she creates and oversees the performances of the musical Resiste in 2015. The singer counts 20 million records sold worldwide.

I am a passionate Dutch portraitist who lives and works in France (Blois). I paint personalities and people who touch me, inspired by their talent and vision of life. My paintings are a tribute to these artists of all kinds, authentic, pure and, in my opinion, talented. I started with figurative Portraits. Now I am experimenting with pop art and contrasting colors. I like to work in series: Forever 27, Jazz musicians and singers, Impressionist Painters, Pop Music Stars, French singing and musical artists. I am happy to share these portraits with you and invite you to discover them here.
