At an early age, I was always drawing in my free time. My passion for art continued in high school, where I won awards from National Scholastic awards and Seventeen Magazine. After high school, I moved to Brooklyn New York to go to college at Pratt Institute. Graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art and worked as a freelance illustrator for numerous agencies and corporations. Sports Illustrated, Time, Life, Xerox, Ms, PBS, Smith Kline & French are a few examples. My paintings have been shown at many exhibitions and galleries. O.K. Harris Works of Art, Caelum Gallery, Moore Gallery, and Pennsylvania Art of the State are a few examples. Taught drawing and painting at University of Hartford Art School, Philadelphia College of Art, and Tyler School of Art as Associate Professor. I have been Commissioned to do paintings for Arthur Anderson & CO, UGI, U.S Department of Interior, and Hilton Head International Piano Competition. I continue to challenge myself by investigating and searching to further my interest in visual conception. "The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that 100 years later when a stranger looks at it, it moves again because it is life.” - William Faulkner, 1956 My creative process is one of researching materials and concepts that contain visual thoughts and metaphysical ideas. This series speaks about feelings and expressions using bold shapes and colors.
