ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is done from a photo taken by an artist friend of her grandchildren in the pasture at her farm. I loved the photo because of the wonderful light and also because it shows children enjoying the outdoors and animals. I hope the painting makes the viewer smile and feel the warm sunlight and cool shade and, maybe, hear the sheep. I love painting in oils in panoramic format, although 6x12 was a challenge for this subject which deserves to be larger.
