ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The book "Memoirs of a Geisha" inspired me to do a new Geisha series. I love the Japanese geisha make up, hair dos, kimonos, and hair combs. To me they look so elegant and coy. Years ago I visited Tokyo and saw a Geisha wearing her kimono, tabby sandals and white socks. She fluttered down the street like a beautiful song bird.
