GIRL WITH PEARL EARRING Painting

We all move forward by carrying the nostalgia of the past moments within us…. sometimes we leave it on the canvas. From the past to the present, my works have been shaped in several different series, flower abstractions, interpretations from nature, and recently, my series of women's portraits... For the portraits I will paint, I first make sketches with watercolor or ink, these works of mine are also included on my page... Female portraits have always been my main interest, I am fascinated by the facial expressions and depth of gaze. My favorite subject is the female face. I take pictures and drawing from live models in my studio and collect new images, I specialize in portraits created by overlaying and blending different pictures of different people to create unique, non-existing persons. After choosing the patterned canvas cloths, I decide which canvas the portrait I have created will match with, that is, in which external environment the portrait can live, and I start working... From the patterns on the ground I have chosen, I eliminate the ones that are unnecessary, I preserve the ones that will integrate with the meaning on the face and translate them into the language of the picture. My work is not about explanation and concept. It is a game to me about triggering the senses. The expressions in the portraits I paint are emotional, bold, shameless, sensual and condescending female faces. I start with no idea in general, but by looking at pictures that interest me and mixing them, a new image slowly evolves. I mix prints, clear gesso, oil paint, gel medium, glitter,puff paint, acrylic, ink and a math/gloss coating with most of these works. I create every painting by hand; they are originals.
