ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I tried to hide my small brushes... tried to keep my strokes broad and loose. This worked with the sky.. taking days and days of glazing and drying to get the bright glarey sun effect. I needed the little brush to put details in the foreground... but even those I kept loose, (they seemed vague and diffuse anyway, with the glare of the bright sun obliterating everything.

I originally wrote a huge amount here, about what I paint, my processes, my techniques, etc. but really, the only thing that is important here, is that I simply find pleasure and a higher plane of thought, and a feeling of lightness, when I paint.
