GRAY Painting

David Gray is a contemporary, American artist living just outside of New York City in Rye, New York. In addition to being a practicing artist, David balances a career as a director in the film industry. When he's not on the road shooting, he can most likely be found in his studio, David Gray Art Studio in Rye. David works in various styles, both figuratively and abstracted, creating a contemporary, modern aesthetic often with a whimsical wink to his environment and surroundings. David’s interest in art started at a young age attending a number prestigious art programs, eventually going onto study Fine Arts and Design at Syracuse University's School of Visual and Performing Arts, where graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Known as a very collaborative artist, when he’s not working on his own projects, he’s often working directly with patrons, clients, collectors, and interior designers from across the country creating artwork for their specific tastes, sensibilities and needs.
