My mother used to blue-tack my paintings to the kitchen wall when I was little and always gave lots of encouragement. I am inspired by my great-grandfather who was a professional painter and I adore the work of Arthur Maderson. I love painting people and portraits and although my work is generally figurative, I like it to be layered and messy. I hope you like it.
