Gloomy roses This is my first job. I plucked up my courage and painted roses. They turned out to be rather gloomy. But I like that. Moreover, before it seemed to me that bright, saturated colors are primitive. Over time, my views have changed. Nevertheless, I realized that I CAN! I can write. I can work myself. It was encouraging.

It is common practice for me to paint with oils and a palette knife in my own original way. Flowers are the centrepiece of my artworks. They amaze me with the complexity of their shapes. They are the center of my interest. I want to know these forms and spread them out on a plane surface. This is a real passion. I also paint portraits, still-life paintings, landscapes, architectural details of ancient buildings. For me, the most important thing in painting is working with color, light, composition, shape and material. Each artwork is a new experience, a new adventure, a new challenge. A lot of the time the ultimate culmination is unknown to me. The more interesting it is to get to my artwork over and over again.
