ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painting: Ink on Paper. In this particular work I have used an ink wash technique to create a monotone effect. A print effect is added afterwards. Although inspired by fashion and having worked as a designer in the fashion industry for many years, my approach to these artworks is more about the concept of style rather than purely fashion. Keywords: stylish, fashionable, female glamour, illustrative, Navy blue tones I am really happy working with black ink. When watered down the shadows form soft shades of Navy Blue.

She has written and illustrated a book titled “BUS STOP and the influence of the 70s on fashion today”. She gave a talk at the V&A London in conjunction with the publishing of the book in 2010. She has given several sell out exhibitions of her work, and continues to produce illustrative work in various mediums.
