Golden Power " Gebrüll " ( roar) Painting

„Man and animal have remained connected since the beginning of time. In ancient cultures, their power, wisdom and strength served humans, who in turn made them into trustworthy and main characters in fables and myths. In my work on the Golden Power " Gebrüll " ( roar ), I would like to revive the magic and myth of the animals. My oil paintings show the outlines of animals in abstract form. The animal head is painted on what may be described as a form of shield. Their aura changes through the use of gold leaf into a painted sculpture. The animals in these oil paintings offer a type of protection and are, at the same time, a source of energy. Some animals carry a further symbol on their foreheads- they appear to enter into a dialog with the viewer and, in doing so, tell them their very own stories.“
