ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I walk through the park, the rain that has just passed has turned the asphalt of the paths into a mirror and the earth has become the color of the sky. Reflections of trees and pillars draw beautiful shapes. The thunder is still rolling, but the wind has died down and the sun is breaking through the clouds. Easy to breathe.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

The basis of my work is an impression. This is an attempt to tune the viewer to the same wave that I was on at the moment when observation turned into contemplation. I like the process itself. I use a soft, raw watercolor undercoat (the first layer) and rough, covering strokes with a palette knife at the second, final stage. This creates light transparent shadows and dense, bright light. For me, some understatement is important, moving away from high detail towards emotional coloring. Participates in local and regional exhibitions and plein airs. Works are in private collections in Russia, England, Canada, USA, Spain and Lithuania.
