ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece represents a graffiti eggplant with white stripes laying on top of three Seville decorated bowls and plates. The artwork combines a light patterned background in contrast to a the darker patterned plates and eggplant. The finishing touches include a tree branch and a few pomegranate seeds strewn about. This painting is part of a series of works I have been doing which involve a main subject matter evolving within a sea of patterns.
