ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As a concept artist for the film industry, I draw a lot of my lighting and mood inspiration from the outdoors. I find painting plein air the perfect complement to my 'indoor' digital film work. It refreshes my eye, mind and soul being out in nature whilst challenging my artistic abilities as I shift gears from inside to outside. Painting from Butterbox point, Blue Mountains NSW, one morning. It is always a breathtaking site looking into that majestic chasm! I can't get enough of it!
