This painting was started and finished during the coronavirus. As a high-risk person, I chose something bright and positive to focus on instead of the negative all around me. That's why its entitled "Grow through what you go through"

I am your fellow empath, so I hold on to positivity like my life depends on it-- and alot of my work reflects that. There is a light-dark whimsical struggle in many of my pieces. I like to display light wrestling with nature, water, or movement. Light usually wins. (It has to, don't you think?) I work full time in pediatric cardiology where I image the heart's of children born with complex heart disease. I spend my weekdays saturated in that work, and most of my weekends painting images to give broken people, like those families, hope. My long term goal is to be successful enough with painting that I can work with different healthcare organizations to display my work and donate to rare childhood disease foundations.
