Gypsy Vanner On Gold Painting

This is an original watercolor and ink painting featuring a rearing bay Gypsy Vanner horse. It is painted on heavy weight Saunders Waterford watercolor paper that has been stretched onto deep wood stretcher bars. Sides are painted black. The art piece has been sealed with gloss varnish. Painted with Daniel Smith Prima Tek watercolor paint. Freehand drawn without reference photos. 40 x 30 uncut sheet of Saunders Waterford, after mounting it is about 35" x 25" x 1 1/4" deep. The art is ready to hang and is unframed. While it is not framed it can be framed with any frame that accepts a stretched canvas. My inspiration behind this painting is Big Eye artist Margaret Keane.
