Hai Ba Trung Street Painting

I came to Saigon for the first time during the 2015 Lunar New Year. It was a new adventure for me, not knowing what would happen in the next years of my life when I moved here. After a week, I have to say I fell in love, and I probably still do, fast forward over seven years - especially now that I'm doing my paintings of the streets of Saigon. This project has been and is being implemented so that by the end of 2023 I have a group art exhibition of my group at the City Museum of Fine Arts Ho Chi Minh city. I don't really plan on doing it like I originally planned other projects to do. But after my friends encouraged me, and I managed to explore Saigon and see it in detail, from a different perspective, drawing and painting. it's not only on canvas, but also in my heart and memory. The hardest part of this project was choosing which scenes to include, to capture the different moods and emotions of Saigon. So this is by no means a solid list, but more of what I feel is memorable for me during my time working on it, a starting point, or more! I met a lot of people who inspired me and made a lot of friends, all thanks to this project. Saigon, where I live and work, has given me so much, and I am forever grateful for your support that has followed me so far. I love Saigon, the inspiration through each street will show through my paintings, and also hope to give you around the world a view of the Vietnamese people.
