Min Hui Yun is an Taiwanese artist who primarily uses oil painting as her medium, as well as an art therapy practitioner. She currently lives and creates in Italy. She graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli and completed her art therapy training there, focusing on the practical application of art in palliative care and emotional healing. Min's artistic style is eclectic, spanning from abstraction and color composition to psychological expression. While her works vary in form, they consistently focus on the expression of emotions, subtle fluctuations of perception, and how inner experiences are captured on the canvas. Her approach is rooted in phenomenology, exploring the process of "how sensations emerge" and using art as a bridge to the depths of the body and soul. Her works speak through color, oscillating between dynamism and stillness, tension and release. For her, the canvas is not just a visual presentation but an emotional container — a space for observing and transforming her own emotions, offering the viewer a possibility for quiet resonance. Min Hui Yun's artistic practice and art therapy work nourish each other, reflecting her deep interest in emotional phenomena, human existence, and non-verbal expression. She believes that art is not just an object in an exhibition space, but a posture in facing the essence of life.
