I painted this image from a photo I tooked at the Ruins of Saachila in Oaxaca, Mexico. It represents an important person, probably a priest, because of his suit, ornaments and the key he is holding in its hand that its itself a represention of power. A key to open what? . The mind and heart of men. The heaven?. A surprisingly mysterious and contemporary image of thousands of years ago. Watercolor with false gold leaf applications
