Vincenzo Gallo is an artist born on June 7, 1995, in Naples, where he earned a degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts. After completing his studies, he further enriched his education in Barcelona at the Universitat de Barcelona, specializing in Sound and Iron Sculpture. Gallo began exhibiting his works as a student and has since showcased them in various Italian cities, including Bari, Naples, Rome, Florence, and Milan, as well as in international exhibitions such as the Innsbruck Art Fair, Atelier Pilar Guell in Barcelona, and the Van Gogh Gallery in Madrid. In 2016, he participated in the Monsummano Terme Engraving Biennale, exhibiting alongside renowned artists like Lucian Freud and Emilio Vedova. Deeply convinced of art’s social value, he has been involved in numerous projects in his native Vesuvian area, including urban regeneration initiatives, workshops, and solo exhibitions. Among them is Il viaggio di O, held in 2017 at Villa Fernandez in Portici, a property confiscated from the Camorra. In 2020, he won the Cesare Pavese Prize, promoted by the Cesare Pavese Foundation in Cuneo, with his work Le tre età dell’uomo. That same year, he founded and currently directs Blue Art Studio, a contemporary art space dedicated to promoting the Vesuvian territory. The studio includes an academy where he teaches painting and drawing, an exhibition space for emerging artists, and his personal atelier. In 2022, he was awarded the Napoli Cultural Classic World Prize in the "Painting" category.
