This painting is inspired by the love between a brother and older sister. The young boy looks up to his sister as a role model. She is his inspiration. She gives him guidance. But they are at an age where she has become a woman, and he is still a young boy. She is dressed and worldly. Unabashed and still very innocent , he is naked. The string wrapping him shows his willingness to stay bonded to her with childish exuberance. But although she loves him and holds his hand, she is eager to move onto the next stage of her life.
