ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Handwritten icon of the Holy Martyr Tatiana. The size of the icon is 52x25 cm. Materials; icon board, gesso, 23 carat gold leaf, tempera, drying oil, varnish. The icon was painted in the classical icon-painting technique in compliance with the canon and the ancient technology of icon painting. In the upper part of the icon (above St. Tatiana) there is an image of the Protection of the Holy Mother of God (patronage). I will write a repeat of the icon to order.
