About The Artwork

Freedom for me is to take a plane and fly with imagination as far away as possible from problems. I imagined idyllic horizons, seen from a plane window. The atmospheres covered by cumulonimbus, first painted and then set on fire, represent an act of social vindication. Aimed at freeing people from everyday anxieties and worries through the concept of reflex. It is not by chance that the user, mirrored in the colors of the tonal passages, reaches a state of intimate contemplation between art and soul, a confrontation that frees the spirit.

My name is Gioele I was born in 1998, I am an Italian/Canadian artist. My dream is to live doing what I love: Create Perpetually distracted and with his head in the clouds because of DSA and other ailments, from very young I find my therapy in painting. I draw inspiration from shocking experiences caused by anxiety and insecurity, but especially from my travels around the world, always looking for breathtaking landscapes. My art wants to free people from everyday anxieties and worries through the concept of reflection. It is no coincidence that the user, mirrored in the idyllic colors of the tonal passages, reaches a state of intimate contemplation between art and the soul, a confrontation that frees the spirit. My research is aimed at the well-being of the individual and for this through a conscious use of chromotherapy, applied to the imaginary atmospheres that can be seen on the back of the transparent support, I can reach the heart of the spectators. I care about Upcycling and for this reason the materials used in the works are all recycled. By the way, the supports are mostly created by me and the choice of "glassy" materials highlights an aspect of me, fragile and sharp, that I think can reflect aspects common to all people. My experience led me to a new beginning after a traumatic event and that’s why I think there is always a clear sky after a storm ☀️
