Born and raised in Longview, Texas, Travis Herberger is captivated by watercolors. He paints busy urban settings because they involve the use of so many colors. He often rearranges things around for composition's sake and doesn't eliminate elements just to make something "pretty". Travis Herberger spends a lot of time drawing and painting. His work includes drawings from photographs as well as paintings he creates on-site, with his own hand-painted brush. Travis has been part of a sketch group for five years now, regularly participating in meetings (twice per week) where they draw live models to create artworks together.
